以马内利华人浸信会的会众们相信所有的基督徒都是被呼招，如同第一批门徒，见证耶稣基督在他们生命的成就。为此我们提供两个灵命发展和见证计划。
门徒培训： 以马内利华人浸信会使用塑造主生命提供为期一年，包括四期和个人学习的灵修课程。对它的反馈是，“它是一个帮助人在基督里成熟的一个良好资源。《塑造主生命》对新信徒和老信徒都很使用。除了能够在自己薄弱的方面能够得胜外，参加者还能在神的的话语，祷告，过圣洁的生活，见证，和信心方面得到鼓励。”
见证课程：这个13周的课程用 三福门徒培训来装备平信徒使他们的生活成为见证。 此课程分课堂讲授及结合实际经验传授如何培训他人在现实生活中做见证。

Putting Faith Into Action
The members of ECBC believe that all Christians are called, just like the first disciples, to be witnesses to what God, through Jesus Christ has done for them. To this end we offer two spiritual development and witnessing programs.
Discipleship Program: ECBC uses the MasterLife Series to provide a one year commitment in four parts of classroom and personal study. A recent review of this series said, “An excellent resource to help persons move toward maturity in Christ, MasterLife is appropriate for both new Christians and experienced believers. In addition to gaining victory over areas of weakness, participants will be encouraged to master living in the Word, prayer, personal purity, witnessing, and other key disciplines of faith.”
Lay Witnessing Program: This thirteen week commitment uses the Evangelism Explosion Program to equip our laypeople to make witnessing a way of life. The program combines class room instruction with actual on-the-job training where experienced teachers model and train the inexperienced in actual witnessing encounters.

Through the Southern Baptist Convention ECBC cooperates and contributes to various programs and offerings which include but are not limited to the Lottie Moon Foreign Mission (Dec); Anne Armstrong Home Mission (April); Kansas/Nebraska State missions (Sept) and the Kansas City, Kansas Association.
